As you can see, it was one heck of a show! Special thanks to Valhalla’s Pirates for going above and beyond the call of duty to make this one of the most fun, action-packed and hilarious Five Minute Follies shows we have ever done!
Thanks to Luna Seas and the Ruddy Jacks for rousing Pirate sing-a-longs, thanks to Erica “RhapsodE” Hawthorne for getting into the spirit of the event with a clever metaphorical pirate tale, thanks to the immensely talented Rebecca Shoemaker for stepping in at the last moment to swing and sing for us, thanks to Bernoulli (Interplanetary Man of Mystery) for boggling our minds with his feats of mentalism, thanks to Better Than Bacon for tickling our funny bones as always, thanks to the oh so smooooooooth City Crooner Charlie Shoes for taking us “Beyond the Sea”, thanks to our Pirate Joke-Off and Costume Contest contestants for being Piratey and Jokey, thanks to Stage Manager John Carlin for being his usual super organized self, thanks to our sound tech Tariq Shabazz for all that swashbucklin’ sound, thanks to lighting tech and Rotunda Director Gina Renzi for so many shows in addition to this one, thanks to our house staff volunteer Karla Shantz for always being where she was needed, thanks as always to my wife Kristie for her support and encouragement, thanks to my in-laws Stan and Marie and my nephew Cole for coming up from Maryland for the show, and finally (deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath), thanks to you our audience… without whom we would be nothing.
