Letters, we get letters — well, emails, actually — and they’ve all been saying the same thing: “Bring Brian Anthony Wilson back to Swingin’ the Standards!” Ask and ye shall receive…

The velvet throated Brian A. Wilson (of HBO’s “The Wire”) will take the stage once again, on Sunday, October 21st, to croon the Great American Songbook. He will be joined by the legendary Michelle Pauls of B. Someday Productions at Walking Fish Theatre. Michelle and Brian will both be accompanied by the great Carla Mariani, who has played keys for the Peekaboo Revue, and has appeared twice at the Mayor’s Ball at City Hall, backing up her friend Michelle.

Also on the bill is another returning “Swingin’ the Standards” favorite, 2011 Sinatra Idol Greg Myers, who wowed the crowd with his lovely interpretations back in April. Rounding out the show is Brooklyn-born vocalist Tony Corrao. Tony has appeared in jazz clubs all around NYC, and has been selected as a cast member for this year’s “Sinatra Birthday Bash”, scheduled for December 7, 2012 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ.

It all goes down on Sunday, October 21st, 2012, 3pm, at the Playground at the Adrienne, 2030 Sansom St., Philadelphia, PA. Tickets are $15 advance, $18 at the door.
