Singer Songwriter Ross Abraham
Ross is a native New Yorker who has called Philly his home since 1992. A singer/songwriter who likes to explore the darker side of social commentary with an acoustic guitar, Ross was also known for his thunderous bass playing in such notable bands as Thorazine, The Loveless, Aku Aku and A Blind Dog Stares.
His passion for music started at an early age, from the moment he picked up a guitar at age 5 … and continued a little later when he picked up a pair of sticks to play snare drum in the elementary school band. Reflecting on the past, Ross says among his favorite musical moments were opening for the Ramones in 1984 and playing a Lollapalooza show in 1995. He also admits to opening once for A Flock of Seagulls!
