City Crooner Charlie Shoes croons the classics to Center City Philadelphians, bringing a bright ray of sunshine to the gray skied work week. With a promise to “do all of the highs and lows,” City Crooner Charlie Shoes covers a large variety of music eras and genres with his wide vocal and emotional range. A South Philly native, Charlie has a sweet spot for classic Philly soul and R&B. Hear his beautiful voice soaring above the rumbling traffic anywhere between 9th and 16th Streets on Market, Chestnut, Walnut, or South Streets during the work week.

Charlie Shoes is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Over the last decade, he has performed in many Musical Theatre National Tours, Cruise Ships, and Casino shows, most notably the 2nd Broadway National Tour of “Hairspray” the Musical, “Forever Plaid”, and “Freedom Train.”
