Carol Anne Mueller

Carol Anne Mueller

Carol Anne Mueller began her performing career in Upstate New York as a member of a regional repertory company, after studying with Uta Hagen and Herbert Berghof at HB Studio in New York, and with Gerard Moses at Syracuse University.

Then the appeal of a regular paycheck lured Carol Anne into a career as a journalist and public relations consultant. However, those professions could not compete with her love of theater and film, so Carol Anne decided to make performing her full-time gig (though she still moonlights as a free-lance writer and editor!).

Notable film credits include the petulant nurse in “Home of Angels” and a pushy mother in “Lemon Sisters,” plus many uncredited roles in film and TV projects in Philadelphia and New York. She also has hosted radio talk shows in Philadelphia and Upstate New York, and has appeared on-camera and microphone in numerous commercials and industrials.

Carol Anne has appeared onstage as an understudy with the Philadelphia Theatre Company as Gail in “Nickel and Dimed,” as the whacky Mrs. Kravitz in “Red Herring” at Stagecrafters and as a soloist in the Kurt Weill musical revue “Berlin to Broadway” in New York.

In addition to her work as an actor, Carol Anne also has provided lead and backup vocals to a classic rock band and fronted two klezmer bands.
